Warranty Policy for Montances Cable Products
1. Product Registration
Customers are encouraged to register their Montances cable product upon purchase by submitting information using this form.
Product registration helps us:
- Verify product ownership and warranty eligibility.
- Maintain an accurate record of your purchase.
- Provide faster warranty claim processing and customer support.
- Notify you of important product updates, service advisories, or future promotions.
To register, customers will be asked to provide the following information:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Mobile Number (optional)
- Date of Purchase
- Place of Purchase / Dealer
- Product Model
- Product Serial Number or Batch Number (if applicable)
- Proof of Purchase (receipt or invoice upload)
Customers will receive a confirmation once their registration has been successfully recorded.
While product registration is strongly recommended, customers who have not registered may still submit a warranty claim by providing valid proof of purchase and any other information necessary to verify product ownership.

As a general policy, higher-value cable products may be granted a lifetime service repair support, subject to product classification and company approval.

3. Warranty Coverage
The following warranty periods and terms shall apply to Montances cable products:
3.1 Scope of Coverage
- Tour Cables (Lifetime Repair Support): Montances guarantees lifetime repair support for all Tour Cables. If a Tour Cable fails due to defects in materials or workmanship at any point during its operational lifespan, Montances will repair the cable free of charge. The customer is responsible only for shipping costs to and from the repair facility.
- Mute / Core Cables (1-Year): Montances warrants Mute and Core Cables against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. At its discretion, Montances will either repair or replace the defective product.
3.2 Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not cover damages resulting from:
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents (e.g., severe kinking, crushing, or exposure to extreme liquids/heat).
- Unauthorized modifications, tampering, or attempted repairs by anyone other than Montances.
- Normal wear and tear that does not affect the cable's signal integrity or functionality.
- Non-transferable, only applies to the original purchaser
3.3 Warranty Claims Process
To initiate a warranty claim or request repair support, the customer must contact Montances support with proof of purchase or transaction, a QR code registration, and a brief description of the issue.
4. Scope of Warranty
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and product issues that, upon evaluation by our technician, are determined to fall within the scope of normal warranty coverage. All warranty claims shall be subject to inspection, testing, and approval by Montances.
5. Conditions that Void the Warranty
The warranty shall be considered void under any of the following circumstances:
5.1 Unauthorized Repair, Alteration, or Modification
If the cable has been repaired, altered, modified, or tampered with by any person, technician, or service provider before it is returned to Montances for evaluation, the warranty shall no longer be honored.
5.2 Physical Damage, Natural Wear, or Improper Handling
The warranty does not cover cables showing signs of physical damage, natural wear and tear, misuse, or improper handling. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Cable breakage in the middle section.
- Broken, detached, or damaged cable ends.
- Visible damage caused by regular wear, pulling, bending, crushing, or improper storage/use.
Any damage determined to be caused by non-manufacturing factors shall not qualify for warranty replacement or repair.
6. Warranty Card and Proof of Purchase
At present, a separate warranty card is issued with the product, which also includes a QR code for registration. Warranty claims shall instead be evaluated based on the following, when available
- Proof of purchase.
- Official sales invoice or receipt.
- Internal sales records.
- Product verification and physical inspection by Montances.
7. Final Evaluation of Claims
All warranty claims are subject to final inspection and assessment by Montances. Approval or denial of any claim shall be based on:
- The actual condition of the returned product.
- The nature of the defect or damage.
- Compliance with the warranty terms and conditions stated in this document.
Montances reserves the right to determine whether the product issue is covered under warranty.
