Toggle switch is usually seen or found in SGs and Les Paul. They only have 3 positions, it is mainly used to select a pickup position or combination. Slide switches' lugs are almost the same with the mini-toggle but different kind of triggers. Switches like this have different lugs assignment depending on the what type of switch it is.
