Musical Journey & Growth

  • A Family Legacy: Aizakk started playing at just six years old, carrying on a deep family tradition of musicianship passed down from his rhythm guitarist father and his grandfather, who played in a combo called "The Globemasters."
  • Genre-Fluid Evolution: Currently the driving guitar force behind the pop-rock band Whadapop, he is also actively developing his self-titled solo project, "Aizakk," which leans into a heavier, more genre-fluid rock direction.

  • Classic Shred & Rock Pioneers: His foundational playing is shaped by an old-school roster of guitar heroes like Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and Angus Young, absorbing their legendary technicality and melodic rock sensibilities.
  • Modern Fusion Virtuosos: To continue pushing his technical boundaries, he draws deep inspiration from contemporary fusion masters such as Matteo Mancuso, Guthrie Govan, Jack Thammarat, and Jason Richardson.

For the pickups, I love their M-Tone HH and HSS Pickups. It's creamy and versatile for any sort of genres. And I also love to use the K-Strings 10-46 Premium Coated electric guitar strings because of its sound and clarity.

On the live stage, he has performed alongside Maestro Perf De Castro at 19 East, shared bills with prominent OPM acts like Mayonnaise and Soapdish, and successfully launched Whadapop's debut album at Cafe Lupe.
